As at least 1,239 fantasy fans are already aware, Snowgum films recently made $82k on KSR for their live-action short film adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s Troll Bridge. “Set in the phenomenally successful Discworld series, Troll Bridge is about the world’s last Barbarian hero (now at the age of 87) embarking on a suicide mission to battle a bridge troll in mortal combat.” They aim for the project to be the “largest scale short film in history.” Judging by these location scout photos of Queenstown, NZ, we’d say they’re well on their way to the biggest lil epic we’ve ever seen.
